Club Committees
Our committee structure is based around a common goal of providing more service to children. The committees work together to achieve this simple goal.
Service:
The backbone of our organization is service. The Service Committee identifies and organizes the opportunities for members to participate in a wide variety of service projects. We recently completed the Kiwanis One Day which was an international day of service for all of the Kiwanis Family. In cooperation with the UWO Circle K Club, we logged over 100 service hours.
Membership Development:
An organization is only as strong as its membership. Memb ership Development works on Recruiting and Retaining members. They organize marketing strategies and focus on areas to improve membership. They are currently coordinating the search for a new meeting location.
K-Family:
K Family coordinates the sponsorships of our K Family clubs. They work with the Key Club to put together fundraisers and help guide their organization. They are in the process of working with Circle K to establish a new Key Club at Oshkosh West.
Marketing and Public Relations:
The Marketing / PR committee makes sure that our community and Kiwanis stays informed about our club activities and projects. They coordinate advertising, distribute PSA's, and provide press releases on new worthy club activities.
