Awards/Recognitions Information

Perfect Attendance Award

Perfect Attendance recognition is given to those members for making every meeting or obtaining a make-up for those meetings missed.

Achievers Award

The Achievers Pin, which was introduced during the 1997-1998 administrative year, is available to individual members who recruit three new members within an administrative year.

Ruby K Award

This award is presented to any member who has recruited five new members into Kiwanis anytime during their lifetime as Kiwanian. The new members do not have to be memvers of the same bluc. A pins awarded for each new set of five members recruited, with the pin bearing the total number of new members recruited.

Ring of Honor

The sponsor of a new member qualifies for the Ring of Honor by participating in three of the following activities with his/her new member:

  • participate in the new members orientation sessions
  • Greet club members as they arrive for three meetings
  • Attend one of the following: An interclub division or district event, or sponsored youth meeting
  • Attend a club board of directors meeting or a meeting of the new member's assigned action team
  • Participate in a service or fund-raising activity
  • Hixon Fellowship Award

    Membership in this fellowship is established through a $1,000 contribution. Only individuals are eligible for membership.

    Legion of Honor Award

    This award is presented to any member who has been a Kiwanian for a minimum of 25 years, not necessarily uninterrupted. The pin bears the number of years the member has been in Kiwanis in five year increments.
